Article Review
http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,1154205-1,00.html

In this article, we see that the animation company Walt Disney, is buying over Pixar. This merger will mean great benefits for both parties. As Disney was the one who distributed pixar films, this deal can be considered as backward integration.
As stated in the article, the firm Disney "has been starved for hits since Tarzan in 1999".By buying over Pixar, they stand to inherit "Pixar's talents in digital animation" as well as its “superior skill at telling stories". This would inject new blood into Disney, which is vital, as said in the article, people are tired of watching "old Mickey, Goofy and Donald". This merger would also benefit not just in the area of animation but in Disney theme parks as well. Merging with pixar would mean it possible to introduce new character as well as rides to Disneyland, thus re-enforcing its strong brand image.

Article Review 4
article review: Malaysian motor industry to expand at slower pace
Link: http://www.todayonline.com/articles/97310.asp
by audrey goh

Review:
Malaysia is the second largest automobile market in southeast asia and it is forecasted that it's growth will slow down this year. This might be due to the imports of foreign automobile such as Japan's car like Toyota and Honda. Even though it might be cheaper to buy Malaysia's car, the quality as compared to imported cars is not as good. Therefore, consumers might choose to pay for a better quality car for its functions and comfort.
This article also shows that imports may cause the domestic market to deteroriate. This can be seen in the increase in 22 percent of non-national car sales.
